OUR 2ND HALLOWEEN CABARET CARNIVAL!!
The season's first show will be OCTOBER 31st at 3:00pm at Ashkenaz in Berkeley
We are proud to have the opportunity to bring this magical fundraiser for children in Haiti back to Ashkenaz as the last show in their Sunday series. Our Halloween show is full of song, dance, wonderful costumes, creative skits...tons of tricks and treats for the entire family. The troupe runs the carnival of home-made games during intermission! Session One performers will get to perform in this very special event
Saturday, November 13th at 11:30 am at the new Freight and Salvage
Sarita will be directing this unique show featuring Octopretzel, Orange Sherbet and Vaudevillians Stage Troupe. Troupe members will be debuting several original songs written for VaST, working giant puppets and props, playing instruments and singing as a chorus. The show is expected to be attended by hundreds of excited young children and their families.
Session Two: (December only)
This short session will focus on movie making, recording, and public service projects such as performing at Children's Hospital and Senior Centers. There will also be a voluntary performance opportunity to sing in a multi-cultural holiday show at the Frieght & Salvage
ADVANCED TROUPE has been invited to participate in the Famous Edwardian Ball in January!
Session Three: (February though May)
Anvanced Troupe: "Rubble" Workshop The older troupe members will have the opportunity to workshop and perform the new original MUSICAL that Sarita has been writing FOR THE TROUPE. Performance space TBD...
Wee Pals to Intermediate troupe: Show to be decided.
June: VaST Camp
July: Advanced Troupe Tour to Oregon Country Fair and Ashland
August: 2nd annual Trip to Mexico
